BioHi, I'm Ellen, aka Rem, a founder of The Creation Station and its yahoo group, the_creation_station@yahoogroups.com, which itself is a spin-off of the Kumoricon Fanfiction community and its yahoo group, kumoricon_fanfiction@yahoo.com.
Basically we innovated the first-ever all-fanfic, all-the-time room at any anime convention: The Beta Station, for Kumoricon 2004 (in Oregon). We're best known for our signature event, Fanfiction Bedtime Stories: An open mic for fanfic, which has grown to incorporate improvisational and scripted performance art, cosplay, live singing of songfics and filks, etc. We then incorporated art programming at the Artists' Den at Sakuracon 2005, then spread to Anime Evolution in Canada in 2006. This year's AEv, we were drafted to compose scripts for voice actors! Next year we aspire to make our mischief at Anime Evolution, Kumoricon, Chibi-Chibi Con, and Otafest.
